Analysing Short Films - Over
if he was British, a lot more people would have cared
performance ;
there wasn't much in terms of speech and facial expressions because there wasn't many close ups or speech but it did seem very realistic
editing :
very slow editing, very long shots
mise en scene :
normal London setting, cars, police tape
cinematography - long shots of police etc.
sound - lots of silence
narrative - flashbacks as timeline was going back in time from when the incident unfolded then was revealed what happened.
this might influence me as I liked the slow paced editing and how it sort of built the tension. And how there was also little speech, this added to the mystery.
